Pepoline studio
It all started many years ago with a little girl with big dreams of being a designer. A few years went by with a trip to university and a life as a product designer in a tech company, but then one day I finally stopped to think and decided to go for it. With a lot of love for vintage fabrics this brand started to grow. Pepoline is not about fast fashion and ever changing trends, but about slowing down and appreciate the fun you can have getting dressed and to see the beauty in things with a history and a previous life.
It’s all created with a lot of love - I LOVE fabrics, their texture, their history and the craftsmanship of making them. And I love opening my closet, going through all its treasures, reliving all the memories I have wearing them and how they can change my mood and energy when putting them on. Clothes are supposed to empower you, make you feel good about yourself and enjoy all the fun of getting dressed! That’s the kind of clothes I want to make! Being a mother of two, I also celebrate garments that are easy to put on, makes you feel effortlessly cool in no time, and support you while you are (busy) living your life.
I draw inspiration from art, travels, history and the women I admire. I aspire to design garments to be worn without the constraints of seasonal trends or dress code.
Pepoline was my nickname as a kid, where the dream of creating beautiful wearables slowly took form as I was gifted my first sewing machine (fun fact: I was still using that great old machine when I founded the brand!) and with the help of a great teacher made my first garments.
The dream was pushed aside for a degree in fine arts and digital design, and a few hardworking years in the tech industry. But dreams are not meant to be pushed aside! They are meant to be fulfilled. I’m glad you stoped by my dream, and I hope you have the courage and opportunity to follow yours too.
Lots of love,
Oline

We only use existing fabrics with a previous history - such as vintage and deadstock materials. We thereby reduce waste and breath life into forgotten fabrics.
-
Locally produced
All our garments are handmade in our atelier in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. We thereby ensure the working conditions of all our employees, so what you wear is made with pride and joy.
